Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A pharmacy technician position is available at an infusion center located on California's Central Coast. This role involves working within an integrated health system and focuses on the preparation and handling of chemotherapy admixtures. The assignment is for 13 weeks, Monday through Friday during day shifts.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and compound chemotherapy and other infusion admixtures following strict protocols Support the pharmacy team with accurate medication dispensing and inventory management Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in handling hazardous materials Collaborate with clinicians to ensure timely delivery of medications for patient treatments
Qualifications:
Valid California Pharmacy Technician license Experience with chemotherapy admixture and oncology pharmacy practices Ability to work full-time daytime schedule, Monday through Friday Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
