In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting patient care by assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and educating patients about their medications. Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper labeling of all pharmaceutical products. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management for patients. Perform inventory management tasks, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to pharmacy operations. Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with pharmacy practices and advancements. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations. Proficiency in patient care practices within a hospital or acute care environment. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with medication dispensing processes. Commitment to providing high-quality patient service and support.
