Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract Support pediatric patient care as a Pharmacy Technician at a leading 300-bed children's hospital in Palo Alto, CA. This contract position offers an opportunity to work within one of Northern California's premier health systems, contributing to vital pharmacy operations in a dynamic pediatric environment.
Location:
Palo Alto, CA Position Highlights:
Immediate start Approximately 6-month assignment Work in a renowned children's hospital with a strong reputation for excellence in healthcare Utilize EPIC software in daily pharmacy tasks
Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications Manage inventory and stock pharmacy supplies accurately Ensure accurate dispensing of medications in accordance with prescriptions and hospital protocols Maintain clear and precise documentation using EPIC software Support pharmacy team in maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards specific to pediatric care
Desired Experience:
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a hospital setting Familiarity with EPIC software is highly desirable Understanding of pediatric medication protocols is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment This is an excellent opportunity for Pharmacy Technicians seeking to enhance their expertise in pediatric pharmaceutical care within a top-tier regional health system.
