Pharmacy Technician - Correctional Facility Sacramento, CA | 26-Week Contract | Monday-Friday Schedule NCW Staffing is actively seeking Pharmacy Technicians to support a correctional facility in Sacramento, CA . This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Pharmacy Technicians looking for a stable weekday schedule and a long-term contract assignment within the California Corrections and Rehabilitation healthcare system.

7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities Pharmacy Technicians will support daily pharmacy operations and help ensure the safe, accurate, and timely distribution of medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
Responsibilities may include:
Assist with daily pharmacy workflows and medication distribution activities. Prepare, package, and dispense prescription medications and pharmaceuticals for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Support centralized pharmacy operations that handle high-volume and routine dispensing tasks for institutions. Assist with pharmaceutical and drug supply inventory management. Maintain accurate and detailed inventory logs and documentation. Help ensure medications and pharmaceutical supplies are properly organized, tracked, and distributed. Follow established pharmacy procedures, safety standards, and requirements. Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and healthcare teams to support quality patient care. About the Pharmacy Operation The pharmacy supports a centralized high-volume and routine dispensing activities away from individual correctional facility clinics.
