Responsibilities:

Prepare and dispense medications accurately for inpatient and outpatient settings Assist pharmacists with inventory management and medication distribution Use EPIC and Omnicell systems for order entry, tracking, and documentation Handle IV medication preparation and other hospital pharmacy procedures (preferred) Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Qualifications:

Certified Pharmacy Technician with experience in hospital or clinical settings Familiarity with IV medication preparation is highly desirable Proficient in using pharmacy technology systems, such as EPIC and Omnicell Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic hospital environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Schedule/Hours:

Per diem position averaging approximately 24 hours per week, with some weeks reaching 40+ hours Flexible shifts available starting at 6:00 am, 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm 8.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break Candidates should be available to work about 3-4 days per week This role offers a long-term, open-ended assignment with consistent work opportunities for those seeking flexible scheduling within a major urban healthcare system.
