Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem Pharmacy Technicians are needed to support a busy retail pharmacy at a major county hospital in San Francisco, CA. This per diem registry role offers a flexible schedule with opportunities to work approximately 3-4 days per week, averaging 24 hours weekly, with some weeks exceeding 40 hours. The role is long-term and open-ended, providing stability for those interested in ongoing assignments. Responsibilities include assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and utilizing pharmacy technology systems such as EPIC and Omnicell. This position requires working primarily weekday shifts, with start times available at 6 am, 8 am, 10 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, and 3 pm. Each shift is 8.5 hours, including a 30-minute lunch break.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Pharmacy Technician certification or equivalent experience Experience or familiarity with retail pharmacy environments Comfortable working with EPIC and Omnicell systems (training can be provided if needed) New graduates are welcome to apply Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Availability to work approximately 3-4 days per week, including varying weekday shifts
