Pharmacy Tech - San Francisco, California

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is ideal for Pharmacy Technicians seeking a dynamic role in a fast-paced hospital setting. The department is currently experiencing a shortage of approximately three full-time technicians. Prompt action will enable you to secure full-time hours and gain valuable experience.

Work Schedule:

• Shifts begin at 6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, or 3:00 PM
• Each shift is 8.

5 hours with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately
• Support IV medication preparation, with hands-on training provided where needed
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to optimize patient care

Desired Experience:

• Prior pharmacy technician experience preferred, especially exposure to IV preparation
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
