Job Description

We are now accepting applications! MTM Pharmacy located in Santa Ana, CA is hiring a part-time bilingual Spanish/English pharmacy clerk or technician who can multitask and possess great customer service skills. We like excellent customer service/sales , proficiency in multitasking , working well in fast faced environment, dedication, and kind to patients, strong communication skills , honesty, hardworking, & genuine.
Optional:
Active Pharmacy Tech License (If you already passed the test and are waiting to receive a license, we will consider your application).

9:30AM to 6PM

Below are job descriptions for our pharmacy technicians:
Job Duties:
Be able to speak both Spanish and English fluently. Greet and communicate with patients and healthcare providers in person and by phone promptly. Maintained pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipated needed medications and supplies; placed and expedited orders; verified receipts; removed outdated drugs. Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs. Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and procedures. Read the medication orders and prescriptions; prepare labels; calculate quantities and days supply; fill medications, assemble intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies. Maintain records by recording and filing physicians' orders and prescriptions. Generate revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges. Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
