In this vital role, you will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced setting. Your dedication will help deliver exceptional patient service, especially to hospice and LTC (Long-Term Care) facilities . Duties Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, including blister packs and multi-dose packaging Manage medication inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and proper storage in compliance with safety standards Support patient service by accurately labeling prescriptions, verifying patient information, and ensuring timely dispensing of medications Prepare medications for administration in hospice and LTC facilities following strict protocols for safety and accuracy Maintain detailed records of medication transactions, inventory logs, and documentation required for regulatory compliance Uphold high standards of patient care Requirements Work experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably with LTC Excellent patient service skills with a focus on patient care and safety in fast-paced settings Pharmacy technician license
