This role is responsible for accurate and timely entry of medication orders for cycle fills, ensuring continuity of care for residents. The ideal candidate understands the urgency of LTC pharmacy services and works proactively to prevent interruptions in medication therapy. This position is for our night shift which begins at 5:00 PM. End time varies based on operational needs and may extend to 3:00 or 4:00 AM. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and overtime will be compensated in accordance. Responsibilities Enter and process new and refill prescriptions for cycle fill in a timely manner Review medication orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance Perform cycle billing and ensure correct day supply and packaging alignment Coordinate with pharmacists, nurses, and facility staff to clarify orders Maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records Handle order changes, discontinuations, and renewals Assist with audit preparation and documentation compliance Ensure all work meets LTC pharmacy regulations and internal quality standards Proactively follow up with physician offices for refill authorizations to ensure patients are not without medication Other duties inherent to pharmacy operations as assigned Skills Proven experience as pharmacy technician Experience with an online prescription system is a plus Familiarity with LTC pharmacy workflow and cycle billing Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology Excellent communication and customer service skills Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail Computer literate, able to use email, fax and scan Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and in team environment Compensation D.O.E.

From $19.00 per hour
