1st Shift, Days Position Summary Perform various functions on a rotational basis relating to the preparing and dispensing of pharmaceuticals, under the supervision of the pharmacist to assist the pharmacist in attaining the goals of the Pharmacy Department Minimum Qualifications A graduate of a ASHP Accredited Technician Program and/or holds a National Pharmacy Technician Certification. Should be registered in or eligible for registration in the State of CT as Pharmacy technician. Experience with computers,Mathematical calculations, Medication Nomenclature, and aseptic technique for IV admixtures required. An associate degree in Pharmacy Technology or sciences preferred.
