Registered Pharmacy Technician Job Description The pharmacy technician will primarily manage inbound customer phone calls and will be cross-trained in pharmacy infusion processes such as prior authorization, order filling, and data entry. Responsibilities + Handle inbound customer phone calls. + Cross-train in pharmacy infusion processes. + Assist with prior authorization, order filling, and data entry. Essential Skills + Data entry proficiency. + Pharmacy technician license. + Registered Pharmacy Technician in FL required. + 1+ years' experience as a pharmacy technician. + Strong customer service skills. + Prior authorization experience. Preferred Skills + Specialty pharmacy experience strongly preferred. + Bilingual English-Spanish preferred. + Experience with Pioneer pharmacy software preferred. Work Environment This position is onsite at a closed-door pharmacy located in Delray Beach, FL. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delray Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
