Clinical Distribution & Automation:
Provide essential distributive pharmacy services and technical support to Pharmacists (including pre-certification support). This includes the daily maintenance, refilling, and troubleshooting of automated dispensing systems.
Compounding & Preparation:
Perform high-accuracy preparation of both sterile and non-sterile compounds, along with the repackaging of bulk medications in strict accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
Supply Chain & Inventory Mastery:
Manage departmental inventory by preparing orders and accurately receiving and storing incoming supplies to ensure the pharmacy is always prepared for patient needs.
Communication & Triage:
Act as a professional liaison between the pharmacy, patients, and healthcare providers. You will triage incoming calls and provide the necessary information to ensure seamless coordination across the hospital. What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification /
Registration:
One or more of the following required: Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience. OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
