JOB SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, assistance in processing medication orders, medication preparation, and performs clerical or other technical functions which support the provision of quality pharmacy services to patients and other departments.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education (or equivalent years of experience): Required for consideration: High school graduation or equivalent. B.
Certifications Required for consideration:
State of FL Registered Pharmacy Technician Pharmacy Technician Certification. Continued employment is contingent upon successful Pharmacy Technician Certification within six (6) months of hire. Florida Pharmacy Intern Permit may substitute for the above. Comprehensive Benefits Enroll in Medical, Dental, Vision and other voluntary plans within 30 days of hire. Coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month following your start date.

  • Contribute 5% and receive up to 2.4% from Broward Health Pension Plan
  • Eligible after one year of service.
Receive 5% of your salary contributed from Broward Health with NO required contribution on your part to receive the 5% contribution. Fully vested after 5 years of service.
Paid Time Off:
23 days per year to start Accrues biweekly Increases after five years of service Available after a 90-day introductory period
Paid Sick Leave:
