Key Responsibilities Process and fulfill specialty prescriptions, including data entry, labeling, and coordination of delivery Take ownership of prior authorizations, benefits investigations, and insurance adjudication, resolving rejections and removing barriers to care Communicate with covered entities, providers, insurance companies, and patients to ensure timely access to specialty medications Coordinate patient onboarding, refills, and medication adherence programs Maintain accurate documentation in pharmacy systems (PrimeRx or similar) Assist with inventory management and specialty drug handling requirements (including cold chain when applicable) Ensure compliance with

HIPAA, URAC/NABP

standards, and state/federal regulations Escalate clinical or operational issues to the pharmacist as needed Qualifications Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician License 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in specialty, retail, or high-volume environments Strong knowledge of: Prior authorizations Pharmacy billing and insurance processing Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage complex workflows Preferred Experience Specialty medications (HIV, PrEP, Hepatitis C) Patient assistance programs (PAF, copay assistance) Adherence programs and refill coordination Experience with PrimeRx Why Join Us We're building something dynamic, and we are looking for people who want to grow with it.
