As we continue to grow, we are seeking skilled Sterile IV Compounding Pharmacy Technicians in a full time, part-time and/or PRN capacity to join and grow with our dynamic team. This candidate must have sterile IV compounding experience and will be responsible for preparing compounded sterile medications using aseptic techniques within an IV Room. Must be licensed and registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Florida before hire.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare sterile compounded medications, including intravenous (IV) admixtures, in accordance with USP guidelines Accurately measure and mix ingredients, following compounding records and JRA Health standard operating procedures. Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations as needed. Document all compounding activities and maintain precise records in compliance with state and federal regulations Perform routine quality control checks to verify the accuracy and sterility of compounded medications Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience Experience in Sterile IV Compounding (USP 797/800) Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Must be licensed or registered in the State of Florida Physical Demand Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching. Ability to carry at least 30lbs
