Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician - IV Certified Job Type Contract To Hire An opportunity is available for an IV Certified Pharmacy Technician skilled in clean room compounding to work alongside a Registered Pharmacist in a fast-paced infusion pharmacy environment. This role offers a 13-week contract with potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30
PM Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and fill IV prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Assist in the prepackaging and final checking of medications, ensuring compliance with standards and government regulations. Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to accurately enter data for prescriptions and coordinate reimbursement processes. Maintain inventory by receiving supplies, tracking lot numbers, expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory tasks. Support Pharmacy Management and Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean, calibrated, safe workspace and equipment.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license is required. National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred but not mandatory. Prior IV and infusion pharmacy experience is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under supervision in a clean room environment. This contract-to-hire position is located locally and requires immediate availability due to current vendor onboarding delays.
