AIDS/HIV
specialty pharmacy in the Ft. Lauderdale area is seeking two pharmacy technicians to support their team. This role requires a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to a sensitive patient population and offers an opportunity to work in a meaningful healthcare setting.
Location:
Oakland Park, FL (near Pompano Beach)
Job Type:
13-week contract to hire
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Saturday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Must have flexibility to work Saturdays)
Responsibilities:
Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including data entry and medication dispensing Maintain a high level of patient care, support, and communication with clients Collaborate effectively with providers and internal team members Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively identifying and addressing workflow needs Uphold respect and professionalism when handling medications for an
HIV/AIDS
patient population Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting Familiarity with
HIV/AIDS
medications strongly preferred; this experience must be clearly noted in your resume Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Florida required; PTCB certification is a plus Comfortable with QS1 pharmacy software (training available, but must be software savvy) Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude Commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance This role offers a unique chance to apply your pharmacy skills in a specialized, impactful environment.
