Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists with medication administration and patient care in a hospital setting. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of pharmaceutical care. Duties Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions and inhalation therapies. Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles to ensure safe and effective patient service. Perform aseptic techniques to prepare sterile products, adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide critical care support and optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and proper administration techniques. Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in quality assurance activities to enhance pharmacy operations and patient safety. Experience Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with medication administration processes, including IV infusion and inhalation therapies, is advantageous. Strong background in patient care within a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and managing pharmacy operations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while delivering exceptional patient service.
