The ideal candidate will support pharmacy operations by accurately preparing and dispensing medications, assisting with patient care, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Enter and maintain prescription data using our computer system Answer incoming phone calls and field patient questions Contact doctor's offices or hospitals to clarify prescription information Disburse completed and confirmed prescriptions to patients Answer patient questions and address customer service issues when they arise Assist the pharmacist with maintaining the ongoing medication inventory and place medication orders when instructed Requirements Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician in accordance with state regulations Knowledge of medical terminology Strong patient service skills with a focus on patient care and safety Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced healthcare settings while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
