Petersburg, FL Responsibilities:
Works under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, within the scope of practice, compounds and dispenses prescriptions. Orders, receives and stores incoming supplies. Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records. Maintains familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures. Efficiently performs a variety of complicated tasks and may be expected to perform some basic clerical duties relating to the department. Communicates clearly and effectively both in person and on the phone to patient care coordinators, pharmacists, management and leadership team. Package medications appropriately using bottles, bubble packs, or CuraPak pouches when needed. Accurately input necessary data to keep patient records up to date. Analyze and review data for completeness and accuracy of documentation according to specified standards. Run point of sale operations and generate shipping labels as needed. Pack and ship packages to patients as needed. Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent Requires at least 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician Must be registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Florida.
