Tampa, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $15•$28 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Spanish Multitasking Pharmacy Technician License High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Registered Pharmacy Technician Patient interaction Full Job Description About the Role We're looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician who takes pride in precision and patient service. You'll work closely with our pharmacists on everything from prescription processing to hands-on compounding, and you'll often be the first friendly face a patient sees. Technicians with non-sterile compounding, LTC/ALF experience, or a strong interest in learning it, are especially encouraged to apply Responsibilities Accurately process new prescriptions, refills, and transfers Prepare non-sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision, including capsules, creams/ointments, gels, suspensions, and topical or hormone preparations Maintain compounding documentation and adhere to USP procedures Assist with insurance billing, claims adjudication, and prior authorization paperwork Package and label prescriptions, including special/adherence packaging Greet and assist patients at pick-up, by phone, and during delivery coordination Process and filling LTC and ALF bubble packs, blister packages, label prescriptions, including special adherence unit dose packaging. Maintain accurate inventory of medications and compounding supplies Support pharmacists with immunization clinic logistics Qualifications Active Pharmacy Technician registration with the Florida Board of Pharmacy High school diploma or equivalent Comfort with pharmacy software and basic computer systems Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures Friendly, patient-first communication style Micro Merchant Systems•Prime Rx software knowledge is a plus Compounding experience is a plus LTC/ALF Rx•processing and unit dose packaging experience is a plus Join us as a Pharmacy Technician and be part of a passionate team committed to delivering safe, effective medication management that improves patient outcomes every day!
