POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispense Pharmacy Technician to join our team! This fast-paced role includes accurately counting, labeling, and packaging medications, as well as managing inventory. This role may include support duties for our compounding teams. As a Dispense Technician, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality prescriptions with accuracy and care for final verification by the Pharmacists . This includes checking, labeling, counting, and packaging medications, ensuring that all necessary supplies are included, and organizing each order for seamless handoff to the Verification Pharmacists for final review. You will play a key role in delivering a smooth, efficient dispensing process that supports our patients and providers. In addition, you will maintain cleanliness and organization within the dispense area, stock and rotate inventory, monitor supply levels, and clearly communicate inventory needs to the appropriate team members to prevent shortages or delays. The Dispense Technician team processes 350-500 prescriptions per day , and that volume continues to grow, requiring strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and comfort working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. Success in this role requires excellent attention-to-detail and organizational skills, clear communication, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn a wide range of prescription drugs and dispensing procedures. The ideal candidate works well within a team, is reliable and punctual, and is dedicated to supporting a high-quality experience for every patient we serve. DISPENSE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS
A Georgia Pharmacy Technician License in good standing is required.
