- Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem A healthcare facility in Chicago, IL is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for a per diem position with scheduled shifts throughout July 2026.
Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription medications as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers. Counsel patients and healthcare staff on proper medication usage, side effects, and safety precautions. Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and facility policies. Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other team members to ensure seamless pharmacy operations. Deliver a high standard of customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns effectively.Qualifications:
Active Illinois Pharmacist License is required. Experience in retail pharmacy or long-term care settings is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and proper dispensing procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and healthcare professionals. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.Schedule Hours:
