We are hiring Pharmacy Technician ! Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Pharmacy Floor Technician to join our team. This role involves working under the supervision of a pharmacist to ensure that prescriptions are accurately prepared and verified. The position requires adherence to all applicable regulations and policies Responsibilities Accurately fill daily drug orders in a timely manner under the supervision of a pharmacist. Assist in processing returned drugs and manage recycling or disposal according to procedure. Prepack frequently ordered medications, label, and store them during low volume times. Manually package materials and products. Pull and pick medications from shelving and other storage areas. Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy checks. Alert the pharmacist on duty regarding any medication or product scanning issues. Maintain designated workstation areas and replenish stock supplies as needed. Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA. Work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required or expected. Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills Previous pharmacy technician experience is preferred. Active IL Pharmacy Technician License issued by the IL Board of Pharmacy. Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB or NHA. Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician. Experience in a closed door pharmacy is preferred but not required.
