Competitive Pay | Stable Schedule | Career Growth SpecialtyRx is expanding into Cook County, Illinois and is seeking motivated Pharmacy Data Entry Technicians to join our growing team at our new closed-door long-term care pharmacy location.
About Us:
SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. We take pride in delivering personalized care and high-quality pharmacy services to the communities we serve. As we continue to grow, we are looking for reliable and detail-oriented professionals who want to build a long-term career with us.
Responsibilities:
Enter new prescription orders for pharmacist review. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information. Generate prescription labels for dispensing. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to order inquiries. Clarify prescription orders as needed. Triage and process incoming faxes. Support pharmacy workflow while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license required. Previous pharmacy experience preferred. Knowledge of brand name and generic medications. Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently. Strong multitasking and organizational skills. Reliable and dependable work ethic. Knowledge of SIG codes preferred. Fast and accurate typing skills. Computer literacy required. Experience with FrameworkLTC systems is a plus.
