Position Summary CVS Health has an exciting opportunity in Mount Prospect, IL for a Pharmacy Technician to be a part of our Mail Order Pharmacy team! A Pharmacy Technician is essential to ensuring patients receive their medications in a timely manner. As part of the team, you will have an important, uniquely rewarding role putting your Pharmacy Technician skills and experience to work in a closed-door pharmacy setting. You will make a difference by excelling in a complex, high impact dispensing role positively impacting the lives of others. You will collaborate with a team of talented individuals in a concerted team effort under the direct supervision of Team Leads and Pharmacy Supervisors. The ideal candidate will possess high elevated levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, team orientation, and critical thinking skills. As a pharmacy technician working in the pharmacy, you will be responsible for many aspects of the mail order prescription process. You may be asked to work in any or all of the following areas; manually fill or pack both refrigerated and ambient temperature medicines, fill medicines for automated machines or pack orders using automated packing machinery and support the shipping handler department such as; manually metering packages and placement of packages to be sorted for shipment.
