Full-time, Monday-Friday Summary Ready to expand your pharmacy career beyond the traditional technician role? Our client is a growing home infusion pharmacy dedicated to helping patients access specialized infusion therapies while delivering exceptional service throughout the care journey. This position offers the opportunity to combine pharmacy operations with patient intake, insurance coordination, and revenue cycle responsibilities in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. What You'll Do- Process new patient referrals from physicians, hospitals, clinics, and other referral sources.
- Verify medical and pharmacy benefits and document coverage details accurately.
- Support prior authorization requests by gathering required clinical documentation and following up with payers and referring offices.
- Own key portions of the revenue cycle, including claims tracking from billing through remittance, billing follow-up, accounts receivable, and denial resolution in coordination with external billing partners.
- Perform pharmacy technician duties under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, including prescription processing, order entry, inventory support, and medication preparation.
- Assist with sterile compounding activities when properly trained and authorized.
- Route clinical questions to the pharmacist while resolving administrative and non-clinical inquiries.
- Balance pharmacy operations, intake, billing, and front-office responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. What You Bring
- Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and active pharmacy technician registration or licensure, as applicable.
- Sterile compounding, home infusion, specialty pharmacy, or infusion experience.
- Strong telephone presence and customer service skills with the ability to confidently communicate with patients, providers, and payers.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including maintaining tracking spreadsheets and working with basic formulas.
- Experience with specialty pharmacy billing, benefits verification, prior authorizations, payer portals, claims follow-up, accounts receivable, or denial management is preferred.
- Formal revenue cycle experience is not required. Candidates with strong pharmacy technician experience and demonstrated billing aptitude are encouraged to apply. Why Join Our Client?
