We are currently seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Pinckneyville Correctional Center located in Pinckneyville, Illinois. The Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist. This person will aid and assist the pharmacist in assigned supervised duties in a responsible and ethical manner. They will interact with a variety of healthcare professionals, corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the pharmacy department and fulfill contractual requirements. Hourly rate of $20.49/hour with a PRN differential of $4/hour. Qualifications Completed a Pharmacy Technician training program Be a high school graduate or hold a GED Active/Current Pharmacy Technician Certification At least one year of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician preferred Experience working in corrections/ behavioral health preferred Knowledge of correctional healthcare principles and practices preferred; along with knowledge of applicable state and federal laws Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Much more...
