Job Description
We are hiring for an entry level Pharmacy Technician ! Job Description Join an innovative pharmacy model dedicated to improving patient care through automation and streamlined workflows. This role involves accurately processing and distributing prescription medications while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and quality control standards. As a pharmacy technician, you will contribute to the seamless operation of a high-volume prescription fulfillment center. Responsibilities Enter patient demographics and prescription data into processing systems. Resolve claim rejects and insurance billing issues. Escalate prescription-related questions to pharmacists for interpretation. Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients and physicians. Operate automated machinery to sort, count, label, pack, and ship prescriptions. Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with machine upkeep. Identify and communicate issues to staff as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and quality control standards. Process new patient registrations and maintain accurate data. Troubleshoot missing or incomplete prescription information. Interpret medical abbreviations and SIG codes accurately. Resolve data entry-related exceptions. Support prescription fulfillment using automated machinery. Sort medications and manage inventory through workflow stages. Resolve Third Party Rejects by reviewing issues and resubmitting claims. Work Environment Work at a fully onsite, automated, high-volume prescription fulfillment center located in Bolingbrook, IL. The position requires overnight shifts from Monday to Wednesday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, totaling 30 hours per week. Initial training will be held from 4:30 PM to 12:30 AM from Monday to Thursday during the first week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Romeoville, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
