Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem A per diem opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to provide retail pharmacy coverage from September 15 to September 16 in Champaign, Illinois. This role involves working first shift hours from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM to support daily pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include:

Accurately entering patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system. Assisting with the dispensing of prescriptions under pharmacist supervision. Managing and ordering over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels. Providing friendly and professional customer service by addressing customer needs and concerns. Collaborating with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and facilitate timely prescription processing.

Qualifications:

Active and clear pharmacy technician license in the state of Illinois. Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience. Experience with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software is preferred, enhancing efficiency in system operations.
