Description:
This position is located in Plainfield, IN at the Integrated Service Center. The Central Fill Pharmacy operates Monday
  • Friday 7am
  • 5:30pm with no weekend hours. The schedule will be five 8-hour shifts Monday
  • Friday.
The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor will oversee technician operations and workflows within the Central Fulfillment Pharmacy. Responsibilities include defining and optimizing key technician workflows, developing staff schedules, and managing daily workload distribution to ensure operational efficiency. The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor will be responsible for training, coaching, and developing pharmacy technician staff, including conducting regular one-on-one meetings with each technician to support performance and professional growth. This role will actively participate in workgroups focused on expanding centrally provided retail pharmacy services and will be responsible for implementing innovative workflows to support these initiatives. The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Manager to evaluate operational performance, analyze business outcomes, and develop strategies that support the continued growth and success of the Central Fulfillment Pharmacy. Requires previous supervisory/leadership experience.
  •  Requires the absence of criminal history related to the ability to work with drugs.
  •  Requires strong mathematical calculation skills.
  •  Requires Pharmacy Technician experience; IV admixture experience preferred.
  •  Requires knowledge of pharmacy and hospital computer systems and computer-assisted devices.
  •  Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Requires strong customer service skills.
  •  Requires full proficiency typing and using Microsoft Office applications. High School Diploma or GED required.
  •  Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  •  Requires Indiana Pharmacy Technician License.
  •  Requires Pharmacy Technician National Certification.
