Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract An Indiana licensed Pharmacy Technician position is available to support a community retail pharmacy setting. This contract opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturday coverage, ideal for those seeking steady weekday hours with some weekend flexibility.
Location:
Community retail pharmacy in Star City, IN Potential coverage at a sister facility in Francesville, IN after training (requires PTCB certification)
Schedule:
40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Every other Saturday coverage, 9:00 AM to 6:00
PM Responsibilities:
Perform order entry and accurately ring up customers Provide reliable support within a team consisting of pharmacy management, pharmacists, and fellow technicians Become familiar with and utilize the PioneerRx order entry system (experience preferred) Participate in a mandatory 3-day training and orientation before starting
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current Indiana Pharmacy Technician license Retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred PTCB certification required for coverage at the sister facility Ability to adapt to business-casual dress code Local candidates preferred for ease of training and ongoing coverage This role offers the chance to work in a well-staffed pharmacy environment, gaining hands-on retail pharmacy experience while maintaining a consistent weekday schedule with balanced weekend duties. The contract assignment begins late June and will continue until a permanent hire is secured.
