Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician with retail and outpatient hospital experience to support a busy pharmacy environment. The role is based in Winamac, IN, and is a contract assignment lasting approximately 8 to 13 weeks.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Every other Saturday rotation
Responsibilities:
Perform accurate order entry using Pioneer RX (preferred experience) Ring up customers and manage transactions efficiently at the pharmacy counter Support daily pharmacy operations in an outpatient hospital setting Assist with maintaining inventory and ensuring proper workflow
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Previous pharmacy technician experience, particularly in retail and outpatient hospital environments Proficiency or experience with Pioneer RX software is preferred Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician License is required Strong customer service skills and attention to detail This contract role suits candidates seeking stable daytime hours with some weekend responsibility in a healthcare-focused outpatient setting.
