Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Lindsborg, KS is seeking a skilled Inpatient Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract assignment, with first shift hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. This role supports medication management within an inpatient setting and requires experience working with Meditech software.
Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists by providing medications, drug information, and pharmaceutical services to healthcare personnel. Prepare sterile IV admixtures with accuracy and adherence to safety protocols. Receive, inspect, and store incoming medication deliveries and supplies. Process prescriptions and medication orders, ensuring correct preparation and labeling of medications.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active and clear pharmacy technician license in the state of Kansas. Minimum of 1 year of recent IV compounding experience, including some exposure to sterile compounding. Familiarity with Meditech pharmacy software preferred. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacy technician comfortable with inpatient pharmacy operations and IV compounding, ready to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
