Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Position Summary:
The Inpatient Pharmacy Technician is an integral member of the healthcare team, supporting pharmacists in caring for hospitalized patients. This role includes preparing and distributing medications, inventory management, using automated dispensing machines, making sterile and oral preparations, including chemotherapy. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to patient safety and care.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education High school diploma Minimum Experience One year pharmacy technician experience preferred Required Registration/License/Certification Kansas State Board of Pharmacy registered technician National Pharmacy Technician certification (CPht or ExCPT) prior to first registration renewal. If technician was registered before July 1, 2017 and remains registered, a national certification is not required per Kansas State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
