Job description Wichita Technical Institute accredited institution and the leader in technical "hands-on" training, is seeking a highly motivated Pharmacy Tech Instructor. Ideal candidate will be a pharmacy technician with at least 3 YEARS of combined community and institutional experience. Prior teaching experience preferred but not required. Essential Functions for Pharmacy Technician Instructor Plan and deliver lessons that will engage students using approved curriculum and syllabi. Supervise independent or group assignments, laboratory work or other training Advise students on academic and vocational concerns. Maintain knowledge of relevant student certification testing and assist Program Supervisor with curriculum and laboratory updates as needed. Observe and evaluate student's work to determine progress, providing feedback, and making suggestions for improvement when necessary. Requirements for Pharmacy Technician Instructor • Possess Excellent interpersonal skills in the areas of collaboration, team participation, creative problem-solving, conflict resolution, group planning, and decision-making. Strong written and oral communication skills. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) No previous teaching experience required! Have a passion for helping other succeed on their educational journey!
