Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including IV infusions and inhalation therapies. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient care activities. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies regarding medication handling. Perform medication inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and expiration date checks. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy for patients in acute care settings. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance pharmacy skills. Qualifications Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a pharmacy environment is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is essential.
