Job Overview Join our healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and medication safety. In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing medication inventories, and providing exceptional patient service within a fast-paced pharmacy setting. Your dedication to accuracy, and patient-centered care will ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes for diverse patient populations. We are a locally owned independant pharmacy where our staff and patients become family. Duties Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. Assist with medication intake procedures, verifying prescriptions against medical records and ensuring proper documentation. Manage medication inventory levels, restocking shelves, and ensuring proper storage conditions to maintain medication integrity. Maintain detailed records of medication administration, inventory logs, and compliance documentation in accordance with hospital protocols. Assist with other tasks within the pharmacy as needed such as cleaning, organizing, answering the phone, and leading patient intake for various programs going on in the pharmacy. Experience Previous pharmacy technician experience is highly preferred. Proven ability to handle intake processes efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings. Certification as a pharmacy technician (such as PTCB or equivalent) is preferred, but not required.
Pay:
$12.00 - $18.00 per hour
