Full Job Description Pharmacy Technician Shift:
8am-4:30pm, rotating

A Pharmacy Technician in our shipping/fulfillment center supports pharmacists and lead technicians in preparing, verifying, and distributing prescriptions. This role is hands-on in fulfillment operations, ensuring prescriptions are processed accurately, packaged securely, and shipped in compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Responsibilities Prescription Fulfillment & Packaging Operate mail-order automation systems, conveyor belts, and barcode scanners. Accurately count, measure, and package medications using automation and manual processes. Apply prescription and shipping labels with correct dosage instructions and warnings. Prepare totes, kits, and cartons for outbound distribution. Order Processing & Data Entry Enter prescription information into the pharmacy management system (e.g., Pioneer). Verify patient and order details for fulfillment accuracy under pharmacist supervision. Monitor order status and resolve discrepancies before shipment. Inventory & Supply Management Stock fulfillment stations with medications, supplies, and packaging materials. Rotate and audit inventory to maintain accuracy and compliance. Shipping & Logistics Prepare daily outbound shipments with carriers. Verify packages meet compliance, cold-chain, and safety standards. Quality & Compliance Perform barcode verification and tote audits at multiple stages of fulfillment. Follow USP , , , and Ohio Board of Pharmacy requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organization of fulfillment area
Skills and Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; Ohio Board of Pharmacy-approved pharmacy technician training program.
Licensure:
Registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Registered or Certified Technician.
Certification:
PTCB certification preferred.
Experience:
Prior mail-order or high-volume pharmacy experience strongly preferred. Core Competencies Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and fulfillment operations. Accuracy and attention to detail in following SOPs. Familiarity with automation systems and pharmacy software. Math skills for standard pharmacy calculations. Effective communication with team members and supervisors. Physical Requirements (with or without accommodation): Ability to stand and move for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Manual dexterity for automation equipment and packaging. Ability to read and interpret labels, packing slips, and faxed materials. What's in it for you:

starting at $18/hour based on experience and certification level + $3.50/hour 2nd shift differential
