Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our closed-door pharmacy team in Waltham, MA. This role focuses on prescription fulfillment, medication packaging, and operational support in a non-retail, production-based pharmacy environment. Pay based on license and experience $20-$27 per hour. Shift 9:30-6:00pm, Monday-Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who thrives in a structured, team-oriented setting and is committed to accuracy, efficiency, and patient safety. Key Responsibilities Accurately prepare, fill, and package prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Support cycle fills, batch processing, and multi-dose packaging operations. Maintain proper labeling and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations. Perform inventory management tasks including receiving, stocking, and expiration date monitoring. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace. Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure timely medication dispensing. Adhere to all Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy regulations and company policies. QualificationsRequired Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician registration. National certification (CPhT) preferred; may be required depending on experience. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a production-focused environment. Basic computer proficiency. Preferred Experience in a closed-door, long-term care, specialty, or mail-order pharmacy setting. Experience with pharmacy management software systems. Knowledge of multi-dose packaging or compliance packaging. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
