Your primary role will be to assist the pharmacist in filling prescriptions, adjudicating prescription insurance claims, managing, and maintaining inventory, and completing various projects assigned by the pharmacist. You must be an excellent communicator with good problem-solving skills, an independent thinker, and a team player who is detail oriented and organized.
  • . Fill new medications orders, refills, and renewals for Pharmacy clients.
  • . Restock pharmacy shelves when medications are received from the wholesaler.
  • . Check for outdated medications.
  • . Prepares prescriptions for the pharmacist to check.
  • . Ability to help others whenever and wherever there is a backlog.
  • . Being accurate, fast, knowledgeable, thorough, and complete in one's work.
  • . Willingness to learn new responsibilities.
  • Part-Time Pharmacy Technicians must be registered in Massachusetts.
  • One to two years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • High School diploma or equivalent
