## Overview We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care and possess strong knowledge of pharmacy operations. ## Duties

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs
• Ensure medication compliance by packaging, labeling, and delivering prescriptions
• Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and resolving medication-related issues
• Utilize aseptic technique for sterile compounding including IV infusion preparations
• Administer medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Work in acute care settings to support patient needs ## Requirements
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician
• Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of pharmaceutical calculations
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and medication administration
• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on customer service
