Certified Pharmacy Technician

Full time Michigan Certified Pharmacy Technician needed at local Independent retail pharmacy - Putvin Drug Store in Manistique, MI. Wage will commensurate based on experience and qualifications Flexible schedule, shifts are 9am-5pm or 11am-7pm, working every third Saturday with a paid half hour lunch. Ability to type and utilize a computer and related equipment to perform job duties and ability to stand for sustained periods of time Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for working cooperatively with pharmacy staff to provide safe, accurate and efficient delivery of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. Will also be required to adapt to the current workflow and any changes as necessary. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Customer service (drop off and pick up counters), accurately input patient information, retreive appropriate drugs from stock, put drug stock away, fill and label prescriptions, utilize pharmacy software, daily maintenance of pharmacy supplies and workstations. Telephone answering and taking prescription orders.
