Marlette, MI and Cass City, MI Hours:
Full Time. Days/Evenings. Some Weekends required Aspire Rural Health System is looking for a Retail Pharmacy Technician. We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide our patients with the highest quality of services.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent experience. Certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT) preferred. Licensed by the State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician License Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting. Knowledge of pharmacy software and medication management systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Retail Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the healthcare team by ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing prescriptions while maintaining a high standard of customer service. You will also be responsible for managing inventory, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies, to ensure that the pharmacy operates smoothly. Additionally, you will provide essential information to patients regarding their medications, including usage and potential side effects, thereby contributing to their overall health and well-being. Ultimately, your work will help to enhance patient care and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in the pharmacy setting.
