Assist the Pharmacist in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services to patients and customers. Key Duties & Responsibilities Dispense and distribute medications under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist Perform inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking Utilize pharmacy computer systems for prescription processing, patient profiles, and billing Prepare intravenous (IV) admixtures and other compounded sterile/non-sterile preparations, including chemotherapy (as trained and authorized) Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment Provide excellent customer service and assist with other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience preferred but not required - we provide comprehensive on-the-job training We will pay for your Pharmacy Technician license/certification and all related training materials Preferred (but not required) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Basic computer proficiency Helen Newberry Joy Hospital does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability or any other classification in accordance with federal, state and local statutes, regulations and ordinances.
