The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy's operations by assisting pharmacists in various tasks related to patient care and medication management. This position requires a strong commitment to provide excellent patient service and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications. This is a part-time position with possible full time for the right candidate. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. Conduct intake processes for patients/prescriptions, ensuring accurate information is collected for medication administration. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries. Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and assist in managing stock levels within the pharmacy. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, utilizing medical terminology to communicate effectively. Support patient care initiatives by ensuring timely medication delivery to patients in need. Uphold compliance with all regulatory requirements related to pharmacy operations and patient safety. Qualifications State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician License/eligibility for license required. Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred. Experience in patient care and service, with a focus on enhancing the patient experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial for effective communication within the healthcare team.
