Job Description
Overview RiverView Health, is a community owned, membership based non-profit organization that was formed in 1898 and continues to be the sole community hospital in Crookston, MN. RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area. - based on experience) RiverView Health has an opening for a PRN (0 fte) Pharmacy Technician .
Primary Responsibilities:
RiverView Health operates an inpatient hospital pharmacy and a retail pharmacy. Duties include inputting prescriptions into the computer, preparing, and processing medications for final check by a Pharmacist, IV preparation, inpatient dosage preparation, medication distribution, and much more.Other Responsibilities:
Inventory management, quality Improvement, medication recalls.Qualifications Required:
Applicants must be 18 years of age. High School graduate or equivalent is required. Registration with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy is required. PTCB Certification is preferred. Preferred(s): 1+ years' experience in Hospital or retail pharmacy setting. Certified Pharmacy Technician experience.Competencies required for this role:
