Pharmacy Technician - On Call

The Pharmacy Technician works within a collaborative, team-oriented environment under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and Staff Pharmacists. Primary Responsibilities:

RiverView Health operates an inpatient hospital pharmacy and a retail pharmacy. Duties include inputting prescriptions into the computer, preparing, and processing medications for final check by a Pharmacist, IV preparation, inpatient dosage preparation, medication distribution, and much more.

Other Responsibilities:

Inventory management, quality Improvement, medication recalls.

Qualifications Required:

Applicants must be 18 years of age. High School graduate or equivalent is required. Registration with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy is required. PTCB Certification is preferred. Preferred(s): 1+ years' experience in Hospital or retail pharmacy setting. Certified Pharmacy Technician experience.
