Blue Springs, MO (Kansas City area)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Rotating shifts: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 5:30

PM Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting patients both in person and over the phone, addressing questions, and resolving medication or insurance concerns Accurately process prescriptions including data entry, insurance billing, and labeling, while managing a high volume of approximately 150 prescriptions per day Participate in non-sterile compounding of medications following established protocols and safety standards (training provided) Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify prescription details and ensure timely dispensing Maintain inventory control, stock medications, and organize pharmacy supplies to support smooth operations

Qualifications:

Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician License Minimum one year of retail pharmacy technician experience; experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail setting is essential PTCB certification is advantageous but not mandatory Strong team player with a determined and positive attitude, ready to engage with a busy pharmacy environment This position offers a 13+ week temporary assignment with the goal of transitioning to permanent employment, at which point full medical, dental, and vision benefits will be available.
