Pharmacy Technician (79319) MO, Boonville - Boonville Correctional Center - BOONVILLE, MO 65233 Apply Overview Position Type Full-Time Job Shift Day Education Level High School Diploma/GED Travel Percentage None Category Medical Technician & Support Apply Description Pay Ranges from $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on years of experience! Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Boonville Correctional Center located in Boonville, Missouri. The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist. He/She will aid and assist the Pharmacist in assigned supervised duties to include interacting with healthcare professionals, corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the pharmacy department. Duties will include typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system, ensuring proper maintenance and operation of a well-stocked pharmacy, and ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing. Our Pharmacy Technicians also maintain pharmacy files on prescriptions, requisitions, medication logs, drug and patient information, purchase orders and other records, as required by the Pharmacist. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required Current certification and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician or L1MA required Minimum one year experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shift:
